Mailchimp is a powerful email marketing platform that helps you connect with your customers, grow your audience, and boost sales. When integrated with your Orderain store, Mailchimp allows you to sync customer data, track purchase behavior, and create targeted email campaigns that drive results.

This plugin connects your store to Mailchimp using your User ID and List ID, enabling automatic subscriber sync so every new customer or newsletter sign-up is added to your Mailchimp audience in real time.

Follow these steps to connect Mailchimp with your Orderain store.

Step 1: Go to mailchimp.com and sign in to your Mailchimp account, or sign up for a free account.

Step 2: In your Mailchimp account, click on your profile icon and select Account & Billing. Navigate to Extras → API Keys. Click Create A Key and copy the generated API key.

Step 3: To find your User ID and List ID, navigate to Audience → Signup Forms → Embedded Forms. In the generated embed code, locate the script URL — your User ID and List ID are the two alphanumeric values in the path (e.g. users/YOUR_USER_ID/YOUR_LIST_ID.js). Copy both values.

Step 4: Go to your Orderain Dashboard, navigate to Shop, then select Plugins from the left sidebar and click on Mailchimp. Paste your User ID into the Mailchimp User ID field and your List ID into the Mailchimp List ID field in the Configuration section, then click Install.

Step 5: Add a test subscriber through your storefront and verify they appear in your Mailchimp audience.
