17TRACK

17TRACK is one of the largest package-tracking platforms in the world. Enter a tracking number and it identifies the carrier for you, then follows the parcel from pickup to delivery across more than 3,500 couriers. Once it's connected to Orderain, every shipment is tracked automatically and your order statuses update on their own as parcels move, whichever carrier handled the delivery.

Before you start: Every new 17TRACK account comes with a small free quota, so you can try the plugin before paying anything. After that, tracking is billed to your own 17TRACK account, so you'll use your own key.

Step 1: Go to 17track.net/en/api and click Sign up to create a free account.

Step 2: Open the verification email 17TRACK sends you and click the link to activate your account.

Step 3: Sign in to the 17TRACK console.

Step 4: In the left sidebar click Settings, then open the Security section.

Step 5: Find the Key field at the top and copy it. This is the token the plugin uses to talk to 17TRACK.

Step 6: In your Orderain Dashboard, go to Shop, then select Plugins from the left sidebar and click on 17TRACK.

Step 7: Paste your key into the Access Key field and click Save. From now on, Orderain sends the tracking number to 17TRACK whenever you fulfill an order.

Step 8: Next, add a webhook so 17TRACK can update your orders automatically. Back in the 17TRACK console, go to Settings, then the Package Webhook section. (Skip this and your numbers are still tracked, but you'll have to update order statuses yourself.)

Step 9: In the URL field, paste the following and replace YOUR_SHOP_ID with your Orderain shop ID:

Step 10: Set Version to V2.4, then click Save.

Step 11: To check it's working, scroll to the Test box below, paste the same URL, choose the event type Tracking updated, and click Test. 17TRACK will send one sample update to Orderain.

Where to find your tracked orders: Open the Tracking section in the 17TRACK sidebar. Every number Orderain sends shows up here with its carrier and current status. (Note: "My Order" is a separate page for your quota purchases, not your shipments.)

⚠ A note on your quota. New accounts include a limited number of free tracking numbers. When you run out, click Buy more in your 17TRACK console to top up. Orders already being tracked keep updating for free; only registering a new number uses quota.
