Printful

Got a store on Printful? Link it up and your product designs come over to Orderain, ready to sell. Choose the ones you want on your storefront, one at a time or the whole set at once, and their sizes and colours carry over with them. Printful handles the printing and the shipping; you just make the sale.

After a customer pays, the order heads to Printful and works through their production line. Printful reports back at each stage, and Orderain follows along: an order that ships gets its tracking number saved, a delivered order updates on its own, and a cancellation on Printful's side shows up on yours. One nice touch is that forwarded orders can land in Printful as drafts first, so you get a chance to look them over before anything is charged.

• Import your Printful designs one by one or in bulk, sizes and colours included
• Paid orders are forwarded to Printful for production without you touching a thing
• When Printful ships, the order is marked shipped and the tracking number is stored
• A delivered order updates in Orderain and can trigger a follow-up email
• Cancel on Printful and the order is cancelled in Orderain as well
• Review orders as drafts before anything is charged, or flip on auto-confirm to push them straight into production
• COD orders are held back by default (they're unpaid and can fall through); allow them from settings if you'd like

Step 1: Log in to your Printful account at printful.com.

Step 2: In the left sidebar, click More, then click Settings. Under Store settings, click API.

Step 3: Click Go to Printful Developers. This opens the Printful Developer Portal in a new tab.

Step 4: In the Developer Portal, under Private token, click Create a token.

Step 5: Fill in the token form:
• Token name: Enter any name (e.g. "Orderain")
• Expiration date: Select a date up to 2 years from today
• Access level: Select A single store and choose your store from the dropdown
• Scopes: Check all available scopes: orders, products, files, and webhooks (both view and manage for each)

Step 6: Click Create new token. The page will show an Access key section at the bottom with your token. Copy it immediately, as this is the only time you will see it.

Step 7: In your Orderain Dashboard, go to Plugins and click on Printful.

Step 8: Paste your token into the Printful API Token field and click Install.

Step 9: Once installed, click Printful in the sidebar. Your synced product designs will load automatically. Browse them, select the ones you want to list on your Orderain storefront, and click Import Selected.

Step 10: Your products are now live. When a customer orders, Orderain automatically forwards the order to Printful for production and shipping.

Note: To add new products, design them on printful.com first, then come back and import them here. Printful private tokens have an expiration date. If your connection stops working, return to More → Settings → Store settings → API → Go to Printful Developers to generate a new token and re-enter it here.
