Google Shopping

Google Shopping connects your Orderain store to Google Merchant Center. It gives you one product feed link that Google reads on a schedule, so your products can appear in the Shopping tab, in Google Search, and in your Shopping ads.

You do not export spreadsheets or re-upload files. Turn the plugin on, copy your feed link into Google Merchant Center once, and set it to refresh daily. From then on, when you add a product it shows up in Google on the next refresh. When something sells out, Google marks it unavailable. When you change a price, Google shows the new price. Your store stays the source of truth and Google stays in step.

Step 1: Turn on Enable feed, then click Install.

Step 2: Click Copy next to the Feed URL that appears. You will paste it into Google shortly.

Step 3: Go to merchants.google.com and sign in. You need a free Google Merchant Center account first.

Step 4: Open Settings, click Business info, and add your store's website address.

Step 5: Choose how to verify. If you already use Google Analytics or Tag Manager on your store, pick that. It is the quickest way.

Step 6: Otherwise, pick Upload an HTML file and add Google's file to your store. Do not pick Add an HTML tag, it is not the right method here.

Step 7: Click Verify.

Step 8: Open Settings, then click Data sources.

Step 9: Click Add product source, then choose Add products from a file.

Step 10: Select Enter a link to your file. Do not pick the upload option, it will not stay in sync.

Step 11: Paste your Feed URL into the box. Leave the username and password blank.

Step 12: Click Continue. Google fetches your feed and reviews your products, which can take a little time.
