Gorgias

Gorgias is the helpdesk built for ecommerce. When a customer emails, chats, or messages your store, Gorgias pulls their order history directly from Orderain so your support team can see what they ordered, when it shipped, and whether it was refunded — all without switching tabs.

Orderain sends order and customer events to Gorgias in real time. Every new order creates or updates the customer profile in Gorgias. Your team can action refunds, cancellations, and shipping updates from inside the Gorgias ticket without touching Orderain.

Step 1: Sign in to your Gorgias account. In the left sidebar go to Settings → REST API.

Step 2: On this screen your Base API URL and Username are already shown. Note both of them:
• Base API URL looks like https://mystore.gorgias.com/api/
• Username is your Gorgias account email address

Step 3: Click Create API key. Gorgias generates a new key. Copy it.

Step 4: In your Orderain Dashboard, go to Shop, then select Plugins from the left sidebar and click on Gorgias.

Step 5: In the Configuration section, fill in the three fields:
• Gorgias API URL: paste the URL from Step 2 (for example, https://mystore.gorgias.com/api/)
• Gorgias account email: your Gorgias account email address
• Gorgias API Key: the key you created in Step 3

Step 6: Turn on the sync options you want:
• Sync customers to Gorgias: creates or updates a Gorgias customer profile when someone places an order
• Sync orders to Gorgias: sends order details to Gorgias so agents see them on every ticket
• Send order status events: notifies Gorgias when an order is shipped, delivered, or cancelled

Step 7: Click Save.

Step 8: Place a test order in your Orderain store. In Gorgias, go to Customers and search for the customer email. The profile should appear with the order attached. Open a ticket for that customer and confirm the order details are visible in the sidebar.
