HubSpot

HubSpot connects your Orderain store to your CRM. When someone registers or places an order, Orderain creates or updates their HubSpot contact automatically. Your sales, support, and marketing teams always see the latest customer details without manual exports or duplicate data entry.

Beyond contacts, Orderain can push the full order picture to HubSpot: paid orders with their line items, sales deals in your pipeline, timeline events on each contact, and abandoned cart recovery contacts.

Key Features:

• Creates or updates a HubSpot contact when a customer registers or places an order
• Uses the customer email address to prevent duplicate contacts
• Syncs paid orders to HubSpot as ecommerce orders with full line items for each product purchased
• Creates a HubSpot deal for each paid order so your sales pipeline tracks revenue automatically
• Logs timeline events on the contact for order placed, order shipped, and refund issued
• Creates a contact and an abandoned cart deal when a customer starts checkout but does not complete it
• Updates the contact lifecycle stage to Customer after a successful order
• Stores your HubSpot access token securely and sends it only to HubSpot's API

Step 1: Sign in to your HubSpot account. In the left sidebar, click More (···) and hover over Development, then go to Keys → Service keys. Click Create service key in the top right and give it a name such as Orderain.

Step 2: Click Add new scope and enable the scopes for the features you want to use:
• crm.objects.contacts.write and crm.objects.contacts.read - always required
• crm.objects.orders.write and crm.objects.orders.read - required for order sync
• crm.objects.line_items.write - required for line item sync
• crm.objects.deals.write and crm.objects.deals.read - required for deal sync and abandoned cart deals
• timeline - required for timeline events
Click Create service key to finish.

Step 3: Click the service key name to open it. Click Show to reveal the key, then Copy and keep it private.

Step 4: In your Orderain Dashboard, go to Shop, then select Plugins from the left sidebar and click on HubSpot. Paste the key into the HubSpot Access Token field and click Install.

Step 5: Turn on the features you want. Each toggle is independent:
• Sync new customers to HubSpot Contacts - adds registered customers as contacts
• Sync customer contact when an order is paid - keeps checkout customers in sync, including guests
• Update order stage in HubSpot when order status changes - keeps the HubSpot order stage in sync with your Orderain order status
• Sync paid orders to HubSpot with full line items - creates an ecommerce order in HubSpot with all products
• Create a Deal in HubSpot for each paid order - creates a deal in your sales pipeline
• Sync abandoned checkouts to HubSpot as a Contact and Deal - creates a contact and a deal when checkout is started but not completed

Step 6: If order, deal, or abandoned cart sync is on, use the dropdowns to select the pipeline and stage for each. Leave the dropdowns unset when the matching sync toggle is off.

Step 7: Click Save.

Step 8: Place a test order in your Orderain store. In HubSpot, open CRM → Contacts and find the customer — their timeline should show an order placed event. If order sync is on, the order and its line items appear under CRM → Orders. If deal sync is on, the deal appears under CRM → Deals.

Step 9: To test abandoned cart recovery, start checkout in your store without completing payment. Open HubSpot and check CRM → Contacts and CRM → Deals — the new contact and abandoned cart deal should appear within a few seconds.
