Klaviyo

Grow revenue with email marketing, SMS campaigns, and automated customer journeys built for ecommerce.

About this plugin

Klaviyo turns your store's data into revenue. Every order, signup, and checkout syncs automatically, so you can send perfectly-timed emails and texts — welcome series, abandoned-cart recovery, shipping updates, and win-backs — all on autopilot.

Once connected, Klaviyo tracks how customers interact with your store and lets you segment them, automate campaigns, and measure performance. Use this data to recover lost sales, grow lifetime value, and turn shoppers into loyal customers.

Key Features:

  • Email marketing automation
  • SMS marketing campaigns
  • Abandoned-cart recovery
  • Customer segmentation
  • Real-time event tracking
  • Campaign analytics and reporting
  • Automatic sync of profiles, orders, checkouts, and fulfillment updates
  • Quick and easy API Key configuration

Installation guide

Follow these steps to connect Klaviyo with your store.

Step 1: Log in to your Klaviyo account, or create one if you don't already have it. You'll need an Owner or Admin role to create API keys.

Step 2: From your Klaviyo dashboard, click your account (organization) name in the bottom-left corner and open Settings.

Step 3: In Settings, select the API Keys tab. You'll see your public key (Site ID) at the top and a Private API Keys section below it.

Step 4: In the Private API Keys section, click Create Private API Key. Give it a descriptive name, then grant Full access to the endpoints this integration uses — including Profiles, Events, Metrics, and Lists — since the plugin writes data into Klaviyo.

Step 5: Click Create, then copy the key immediately. Klaviyo will not show it again after this screen. Private keys start with the prefix pk_ followed by 34 alphanumeric characters.

Step 6: Go to your Orderain Dashboard, navigate to Shop, then select Plugins from the left sidebar and click on Klaviyo. Paste your Klaviyo Private API Key into the API Key field and your Public Key into the Public Key field in the Configuration section and click Install.

Step 7: Visit your storefront and perform a few actions — create an account, start a checkout, and place an order.

Step 8: Return to your Klaviyo dashboard and confirm the data is syncing — new customer profiles appear under Profiles, and order, checkout, and abandoned-cart events show on the profile timeline and in Metrics.
