Unlike traditional analytics that mainly track page views and sessions, Mixpanel focuses on meaningful actions — signing up, viewing products, adding items to cart, and completing purchases — so you can see exactly where customers engage or drop off.

Follow these steps to connect Mixpanel with your Orderain store.

Step 1: Visit mixpanel.com and sign in to your Mixpanel account.

Step 2: After logging in, click the Settings (gear icon) in the top-right corner of the dashboard.

Step 3: Select Project Settings from the menu, then confirm you're on the Overview tab.

Step 4: Scroll to the Access Keys section and locate your Project Token.

Step 5: Copy the Project Token.

Step 6: Go to your Orderain Dashboard, navigate to Shop, then select Plugins from the left sidebar and click on Mixpanel. Paste the Project Token into the Project Token field in the Configuration section and click Install.

Step 7: Visit your storefront and perform a few actions such as viewing a product or completing a purchase, then check your Mixpanel dashboard to confirm events are being received.
