PostHog connects your Orderain store to a full product analytics suite, so you can see how shoppers move from landing page to checkout. Add your project key and the PostHog snippet is added to your storefront, capturing pageviews, clicks, and conversion events automatically.

Beyond charts, session replay lets you watch recordings of real visits, so you can spot where customers hesitate or abandon their cart. Funnels help you find exactly where buyers drop off.

Step 1: Go to posthog.com and click Get started for free to create your account.

Step 2: During signup, pick your data region: US (most common) or EU. Remember which one you chose.

Step 3: On the Install PostHog screen, click Set up manually.

Step 4: Click the Copy project token button. This copies your Project API Key (it starts with phc_). That is the only value you need from PostHog.

Step 5: In your Orderain Dashboard, go to Shop → Plugins and click PostHog.

Step 6: Paste your Project API Key into the Project API Key field.

Step 7: Leave the API Host field on its default https://us.i.posthog.com. Only change it to https://eu.i.posthog.com if you chose the EU region at signup.

Step 8: Click Save.

Step 9: Open your storefront, then check your PostHog dashboard. Your visit should appear within a minute. Analytics and session replay are now live.
