TikTok connects your Orderain store to TikTok Ads so you can see which ads actually bring in sales. This plugin tracks shoppers two ways at once. The pixel runs in the browser and records page views and product views, while the Events API sends add to cart, checkout, and purchase events straight from your server.

The server side matters because ad blockers, iOS privacy settings, and cookie limits stop a large share of browser events from ever reaching TikTok. When those events go missing, TikTok optimizes toward the wrong audience and your reported sales look lower than they really are. Both methods send a matching event ID for every action, so TikTok merges them into one conversion instead of counting it twice. Paste your Pixel ID to start with browser tracking, then add your Access Token to switch server-side tracking on.

Step 1: Go to ads.tiktok.com and sign in to your TikTok Ads Manager account, or create one.

Step 2: In the top menu, open Tools, then click Events Manager under Management.

Step 3: In the left sidebar, click Connect data source, select Web, then choose Manual Setup.

Step 4: On the Choose a manual connection method screen, select TikTok Pixel + Events API and click Next. This plugin sends events from both the browser and your server, so pick this option rather than either one on its own.

Step 5: TikTok opens its Pixel + Events API setup guide. On the Create pixel screen, type a name for your pixel and click Create.

Step 6: The next screen is Install base code. Skip it and click Next. You do not need to copy this code, because Orderain adds the pixel to your storefront for you.

Step 7: Keep clicking Next through the screens that follow: Manage configurations, Set up events, Verify Pixel setup, and Set up your business funnel. Leave every setting on its default.

Step 8: You now reach Implement Events API. At the top, under Getting started, copy your Pixel ID.

Step 9: On the same screen, click Generate access token and copy it straight away. TikTok will not show it again. Ignore the developer notes below it.

Step 10: Click Next to reach Verify eAPI setup, then click Finish to close the wizard. Skip Go to Test events for now, as there is nothing to test until the plugin is installed.

Step 11: In your Orderain Dashboard, go to Shop, then select Plugins from the left sidebar and click on TikTok.

Step 12: Paste your Pixel ID and access token into their fields, then click Install. Both browser and server-side tracking are now live.

Step 13: Visit your storefront and place a test order.

Step 14: Open TikTok Events Manager and check the Events tab. Your purchase should appear with both Browser and Server listed as sources, counted as one event.
