Google Analytics is a free website analytics platform that provides real-time statistics and analysis of how users interact with your store. By integrating Google Analytics with your Orderain store, you can understand your site visitors, measure marketing performance, and use data-driven insights to grow your business.

This plugin adds the GA4 tracking snippet to your storefront using your Measurement ID, automatically tracking page views and e-commerce events so you can measure the full customer journey from first visit to completed purchase.

Follow these steps to connect Google Analytics with your Orderain store.

Step 1: Go to analytics.google.com and sign in with your Google account, or create a free account.

Step 2: Click Admin in the bottom-left corner. In the Account column, select your account. In the Property column, select your property or create a new one.

Step 3: Under Property, click Data Streams, then select your web stream. Your Measurement ID begins with G- and is displayed at the top of the stream details (e.g. G-XXXXXXXXXX). Copy it.

Step 4: Go to your Orderain Dashboard, navigate to Shop, then select Plugins from the left sidebar and click on Google Analytics. Paste your Measurement ID into the Google Analytics ID field in the Configuration section and click Install.

Step 5: Visit your storefront, then check the Realtime report in Google Analytics to confirm your store is sending data.
