Google Tag Manager (GTM) is a free tag management system that lets you deploy and manage marketing and analytics tags on your store without modifying code directly. By integrating Google Tag Manager with your Orderain store, you can add, update, and remove tracking tags — such as Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, and custom scripts — all from one central interface.

This plugin adds the Google Tag Manager container snippet to your storefront using your Container ID, giving you full control over your store's tracking and marketing tags through the GTM dashboard.

Follow these steps to connect Google Tag Manager with your Orderain store.

Step 1: Go to tagmanager.google.com and sign in with your Google account, or create a free account.

Step 2: Click Create Account, enter your account name and country, then set up a new container for your store. Select Web as the target platform and click Create.

Step 3: After creating the container, Google Tag Manager will display your container snippet. Your Container ID begins with GTM- (e.g. GTM-XXXXXXX). Copy it.

Step 4: Go to your Orderain Dashboard, navigate to Shop, then select Plugins from the left sidebar and click on Google Tag Manager. Paste your Container ID into the Google Tag Manager ID field in the Configuration section and click Install.

Step 5: Use GTM's Preview mode to verify your container is loading on your storefront and that tags are firing correctly before publishing.
